Old Railway Station, opened in 1909 to meet the transportation needs of the iron ranching town.

Built in the administration of Mayor Col. Silvestre de Lima has long been owned by the Companhia Paulista Railroad and after FEPASA.

It currently belongs to the municipality of Barry, was completely restored in 2008, becoming the station called Culture "Placidino Alves Goncalves".

It is intended for the reception of artistic, cultural and folk. It has two large lounges ideal for art exhibitions.
