Busch Gardens is located in Tampa, about 90 km from the city of Orlando, approximately two hours by car. The park was inaugurated on March 31, 1959 and it was just a zoo, with the intention to teach visitors about wildlife protection. However, other attractions have been added to the park, as the world famous roller coasters Kumba, Montu and Sheikra, other attractions, shows, restaurants and shops were built. Busch Gardens Tampa offers fascinating attractions based on exotic encounters with the African continent and currently has more than 2,000 animals. The Serengeti Plain is a broad area, is home to giraffes, zebras, white rhinos, bongo, antelopes, impalas and more. In the area Myombe Book: The Great Ape Domain, visitors can see gorillas and chimpanzees in a lush tropical forest environment. The Edge of Africa is an intense walk to see lions, hippos and hyenas. There is also a band called Mystic Sheiks of Morocco that cheers the visitors with his music dominated by metals and percussion.
