Aquiraz is a municipality in the Brazilian state of Ceará, located in the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza. The animation is on account of the blocks and concerts with local bands. The memories of the illustrious past of Aquiraz are stored around the Plaza Canon Araripe and worth a visit. Start at the parish church of San José Ribamar, 1713, with original paintings of the 19th century. Then explore the Museo Sacro Sao Jose de Ribamar, in the former Town Hall and Jail (1742), which presents images of the 18th century.
